Some common bets include Snake Eyes (you win if the shooter rolls a 2), Any seven (you win if a 7 is rolled), and hi-lo (you win if the shooter rolls a 2 or a 12). X Research source Proposition bets have very low odds and are not considered a good bet for the player. A hard 8, for example, is a double 4. That is how wagers of this type get their names. They are pretty simple and are based on certain doubles being rolled before a 7. You can bet on any of a hard 4, a hard 6, a hard 8, or a hard 10. If the relevant hard number is rolled before a 7, you win the bet. BONUS CRAPS WAGERA Bonus Craps wager is a bet that a series of numbers rolls before a 7. The “All Small” wager is a bet that a 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will roll before a 7. The “All Tall” wager is a bet that an 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 will roll before a 7. The Any Craps 8 for 1 payoff (7x bet) is also a no brainer. Most of the payoffs in the prop box are going to be a hop bet. The Any 7 Bet T he Any 7 is a one-roll bet, which means it doesn’t “stand” for repeated rolls (such as the Pass Line bet). If a 7 shows on the roll immediately after making the bet, you win. If it doesn’t show, you lose.

Introduction

Props and Hops is a craps variant that got its debut at the Sugar House casino in Pennsylvania in 2014. It is pretty much the game of craps with all the best bets removed leaving only the sucker bets. The name is a play on words, referring to 'prop' bets and 'hop' bets. Hop bets are a long-shot bet in craps on a specific dice roll, like 1-6 or 5-5.
